IPTV for Apple TV: Complete Setup Guide
NovaStar IPTV can be configured on a compatible App Store-capable Apple TV using a third-party IPTV player downloaded from the official Apple TV App Store and the authorized account details provided for your subscription. This guide covers player installation, Xtream Codes or M3U login, recommended settings and common setup problems.

Older Apple TV models without the App Store cannot install current third-party player applications. Compatibility depends on the generation, tvOS version, country and available player, so do not assume every model is supported.
Apple Account credentials and NovaStar IPTV credentials are separate. Never enter your Apple Account password into the IPTV player, and never enter your NovaStar username or password into Apple Account login fields.
Check Your Apple TV Model
Application installation is generally available on Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models that include the App Store. Menus and compatibility may differ according to the model, tvOS version, country and the particular player you want to install.
If you cannot find the App Store on your Apple TV, check the model number in Settings before purchasing another device: Settings → General → About
Install a Compatible IPTV Player

Add Your IPTV Login Details
Xtream Codes Login
A supported player may request: profile name, server or portal URL, username and password. Copy all information exactly as supplied, including the http:// or https:// prefix.
M3U Playlist Login
Choose Add Playlist or M3U URL, enter a profile name, paste the complete authorized playlist URL, save it and wait for synchronization to finish. Player menus differ, and not every player supports both methods.
Some Apple TV players may display a device code and an official activation page. Follow only the instructions displayed inside the verified application, and confirm the official developer website before entering any account information. Never display real credentials or complete M3U URLs.
Common Problems and Solutions
Player Unavailable in the App Store
- Verify the spelling of the application name and confirm the developer.
- Confirm Apple TV model, country and tvOS compatibility.
- Update tvOS to the latest version.
- Contact support for an official compatible alternative.
Username or Password Rejected
- Check capitalization and remove accidental spaces.
- Confirm that the complete server URL was entered.
- Verify that the account is active.
- Confirm that the correct login method was selected.
Buffering or Freezing
- Restart the router and Apple TV.
- Try Ethernet or stronger Wi-Fi.
- Pause other downloads and background activity.
- Test another item to identify whether the issue is isolated.
Application Freezes or Stops Responding
Follow this order: force quit and reopen the application; restart Apple TV; check for application and tvOS updates; delete and reinstall the application only as a final step.
Reinstalling an application may remove its saved profiles and login details. Always try the earlier steps first.
